Hi! It has been such a busy month!
First we want to thank TMJ4, we had such a great interview with them at the end of November. You can watch the clip here: https://www.tmj4.com/news/racine-county/8-year-old-needs-life-saving-kidney-transplant-family-prays-for-communitys-generosity-to-help-them-through?fbclid=IwY2xjawGxeRRleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHfad3iLhYStH89392XDX4KiNBM-nJ41fmeac3ELcXpVRK2LmmHTvdlNDTQ_aem_ZcqqlxT_FNm-z2JV72hv4g
Also, a major thank you to Allie Faith from KissFM radio station in Milwaukee. Allie hosts a segment on Sunday mornings to highlight a local nonprofits and organizations. She interviewed Eric (Theo’s father) about Theo and the COTA organization. It aired on 12/15, please take a listen here: https://www.audacy.com/podcast/1037-kiss-fm-public-affairs-8c42d/episodes/alley-speaks-with-eric-scott-and-cota-about-kidney-donation-for-8-year-old-theo-scott-c4dbc
We have been enjoying all the build up to Christmas! Baking cookies, driving around and seeing the Christmas lights and of course a visit to see Santa. Theo has especially enjoyed his mom’s m&m cookies, and he is really hoping for a PS5 for Christmas. Hopefully Santa will pull through for him!
This weekend, we had a visit from a family friend, Guy, whose adult son, Ray, went through a kidney transplant. It was so nice to visit with them, and to have Theo get to chat with someone who has been through a similar situation. Thank you so much to Guy and his sons Ray and Daniel for coming to spend time with us.
Also, please remember in your prayers the Okon family. Their daughter, Ebele, was a friend and a fellow student at Theo’s school who unexpectedly passed away.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone, and we will update again soon!
Love,
The Scott Family

I am thankful that things are moving along in a positive way for Theo and his family! I hope they all have a very merry Christmas!
