Today we had a BIG VICTORY!!! Tj’s blood sugars were in normal range all morning. As a result, Tj was able to move to the transplant floor, bye-bye PICU. YAY!!!! We are so happy that this big victory has come.

Tj was taken off the continuous insulin drip and is now using Omni pod, a machine that delivers his insulin based off his blood sugar numbers. These victories mean that Tj is getting one step closer to improving and one step closer to going to the Ronald McDonald House. Tj’s blood sugars dropped for a short while when he first arrived on the transplant floor, but his numbers are back to normal. Tj is now on clear liquids!!
