Tj’s bowels are up and running again. Tj’s intestines were rerouted during his surgery, and we had to be sure that they were running properly. Overnight he was given double MiraLAX, increased his laxative, and finally had to give a suppository.

The Doctors are still trying to get a handle on Tj’s blood sugars. He is dropping really low and then shooting up high. Tj had a great day at therapy he walked the hallway twice. He also was able to try to help move his legs in the tub with minimal assistance. The doctors allowed him to stay off his feeds for a longer time today in hopes his
appetite would pick up. It worked Tj ate 2 grilled cheese sandwiches and was smiling away. Hopefully he will be able to get rid of his G-tube. He still is pushing along everyday, even when he body feels so exhausted. He is taking needles like a champ and even getting his fingers stuck a thousand times. He is one strong little guy!
