TJ had a good first day out of surgery. They lowered the sedation a little bit and kept plenty of pain meds on board to keep her comfortable. OT came in and got her up and in a chair where she sat contently for a good hour.
This morning, drs made rounds Taylor is looking great on their end. A huge win for TJ is they decided her NG tube could come out and let me tell you, within just a few mins of the team leaving, her nurse had it out knowing that the NG tube has been a huge complaint for her. Taylor’s team has a goal of getting her up and out of bed today and making little strides day by day. We know this isn’t an easy task but we remind TJ that she has done hard things and that this is just another hard thing that she CAN do because her one bad day is already behind her. #tjthepancreatitiswarrior 💜
