Developmentally, Violet has fallen far behind because of her disease and so much time spent in the hospital but my baby girl is catching up quick.

Mastered crawling ✅️

Mastered sitting up ✅️

Started to pull herself up onto her knees ✅️

Started eating and enjoying pureed food ✅️

Started babbling like crazy ✅️

She loves to play peek a boo and clap her hands, but her favorite thing to do by far is playing with her brothers 🩵

They may just seem like small mile stones, but there was a point in time when I wondered if Violet would ever get to do these things, so the fact that we made it to this point is such a relief. There are many complications that can occur post transplant, some of which we experienced during her most recent hospital admission, so I know we aren’t completely out of the woods yet, but right now Violet is happier and healthier than ever and life is good 💜
