On July 18th we held a porkchop dinner at Oakland City Golf Course, a silent auction, and had two amazing food tucks, Three Sips and Dawson’s Ice Cream, who donated part of their sales to COTA for Wrenley’s Fight. We held the event from 11-5 and it went amazing. The amount of people who showed up to support our girl was such a blessing. We were able to raise a little over $8,000. The team at the Golf Course were beyond amazing to us and did such a great job with everything. When they told us the total they had raised off the pork chops alone, I may have cried with a few of the ladies. I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff at the Oakland City Golf Course are. They helped with anything we needed and are just great people. The Oakland City Golf Course donated all the food for the porkchop dinners. They sold out 3 separate times! Which is understandable because they were so so yummy! Dawson’s Ice Cream Truck and the Three Sips truck, had lines the entire event and were so good as well. We are beyond blessed for our COTA team, family, and friends that help make the event possible. They ran around like crazy picking up donations, setting everything up, getting auction items to the winners, and just being there for us. We truly have an amazing village behind us and could not be more thankful!
