Zach had a tough night. The pain medication caused some rough side effects. The team is now working to better manage his pain with different options.

This morning, PT helped him out of bed, and he walked to the doorway and back five steps each way. He was also able to sit up in a chair for about two hours, although getting back into bed was painful. Great effort today. Way to go, Zach!!!

The pediatric psychologist and his surgeon both checked in, and they say his recovery is right on track.
