3/1/26 – Last Weeks Progress

We are one week out of hospital and have been trying to navigate the ups and downs of keeping Zach’s glucose levels in range. Too many highs or lows could affect the growth of the transplanted cells. So needless to say it has been a very difficult learning experience. The doctors are very proud of how Zach has been taking control of the care of his diabetes and are very pleased that he seems to be healing quicker than the average patient. He has however,  been experiencing some lower pains which we don’t know what is from and he has been having a little more fatigue and nausea. We are taking things one day at a time and feel very blessed for all the support, the messages and the prayers you all have been giving. We will continue to update as things progress. Thank you
