After 6 yrs of chronic reoccurring pancreatitis, and trying everything and more to avoid pancreas removal, we finally decided to go through with TPAIT surgery for Miko. After a long trip to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and a very intense and invasive surgery, Miko has begun her long recovery which will include many back and forth trips between Texas and Cincinnati.
