At 8 years old, I got very sick and needed a heart transplant. Amazingly two years after, i recieved my heart! Now, 14 years later I am 24 (as of Nov 10) I am in active heart and kidney failure. I need a new heart and kidney to save my life once again. Even though I am sick, I am still a normal person, I just can’t do things like I used to. I love to sing and dance, I am obsessed with all things food! Dogs and horses are my favorite animals and although I can’t play now, I still love soccer. Now that I’m in my 20’s, I have an amazing husband, and a very big family. My parents and all 4 of my sisters stay very close to me. They are my biggest supporters for sure, but many of our friends are doing their best to help out too. With all the love and support in my life and your help, I am sure we can raise the funds for COTA to assist with transplant-related expenses.

The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law
