Sorry for the long break between posts, for all those who are following Angelia’s Kidney journey. 

I’ve honestly been a bit discouraged the last few months. I like to have good news and most of the labs we had been getting weren’t great. I’ve been struggling with not trying to figure out or fix things so her labs would look better and her weight and blood pressures would be better, instead of just leaving it in God’s hands since I’m doing all I know to do already. 

We are heading back from St. Louis and we finally got some good labs though the her dyalisis team isn’t sure what to make of the results yet. Her PTH hormone levels had been 800 to 1200 more then where they should be but today it was 7. Which is actually lower then it should be. We already have surgery scheduled for the end of next month to remove most of her parathyroids, based on how high they have been staying for the last 7 or 8 months but now we’re not sure what to make of her labs so we will have to get more labs in a week or two and see what those look like. As of now the surgery is still scheduled. Unfortunately her phosphorus level went up. 

More good news she has grown more this last month and we have a plan to help with weight and blood pressure. So if you would continue praying with us for the next steps where ever God leads us and that the new setting on Angelia’s machine will help balance her weight and blood pressure.
