COTA for Ariana's Fight

Our Story

Ariana is a beautiful 5-year-old that looks like a healthy little girl. Unfortunately for her and her family she has a rare heart condition that has required her to have 3 open-heart surgeries and now be placed on the Heart Transplant List. Due to the severe complexities of Ariana’s heart, surgical repair is not an option! Without a transplant Ariana’s heart failure will only get worse. You could imagine how stressful this time is to her family. Ariana’s family needs help. The financial burden alone of having a critically ill child is overwhelming. Mom and Dad will be missing work while Ariana is in Cardiac ICU awaiting a heart transplant. The transplant center is currently 150 miles from their home and Ariana has already been in the hospital 6 months. Ariana’s family needs to focus on her mental and physical well being, not be burdened over financial matters at this time. This is why they have partnered with the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) for assistance with transplant-related expenses. The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
