Our Story

My name is Aria Rose. I’m 3 years old and I have SPINK 1 gene mutation that causes me to have pancreatitis. I will be having TPIAT surgery in June in hopes to have my islets from my pancreas transplanted into my liver to help me produce insulin. I love to swim, scooter, go to the beach, paint, eat popsicles and play with my sisters. I hope that this surgery will let me be able to play sports and for me to have my first birthday party at a trampoline park. Thank you to everyone that is praying for me and donating to COTA in my honor to assist with transplant-related expenses.

The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy children and young adults. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses. COTA’s services are free to our families, and gifts to COTA are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
