Sometimes I tell people Benjamin’s story, and I can’t quite believe it myself. I haven’t yet read back through these COTA updates or the Facebook updates, but I know that when I do, they will take my breath away. Because today, he is healthy and happy. 

This boy is such a fighter, and going so strong. He receives weekly Occupational, Speech, and Physical therapies, and is making so much incredible progress. He eats everything he can get his hands on (unless he throws it, because that’s apparantly hilarious). 

He is so silly, so snuggly, and overall just the best. Check out his Facebook page for a more complete list of the activities he’s been up to this year. I’m just posting these few pictures here to encourage any families that might be in the midst of the transplant journey. Don’t ever give up hope.
