Carly has always been our true miracle. From the very first ultrasound at 5 weeks the doctor was not sure she would continue on. Then her frightening delivery. I remember being wheeled into the OR and thinking I would never get to meet her. Well I did. The first thing I saw as they wheeled me to her bedside was her long toes and her wavy brown hair. She was so very pale from not having blood. It was definitely hard to see my baby with the tubes and wires all over her. I did get to hold her the day. An amazing feeling.
