An Update From Misti

Hello Friends & Fans of Clark!

A LOT has happened since we last updated. 2020 was a doozy of a year around here. Pancakes with princesses was a blast, but the bad news is covid killed all of our other planned COTA fundraising efforts. But wait for the good news…When we last spoke, Clark looked something like this:

A little yellow and recieving most of his calories through a tiny tube in his nose, but after what felt like waiting forever suddenly the Wilcox family got the call and then everything moved so fast. On September 23, Clark was blessed to receive a life saving liver transplant. I was able to facetime with my tiny friend and was shocked at how almost instantly he didn’t appear sickly. It was miraculous how quick Clark’s new liver got to work in his tiny body. Lately Clark is looking more like this:

The infamous yellow hue, gone. Tiny tube, gone. Clark is healthy, pink, and chunky from his love of snacks. There have been a few obstacles and a couple hospital admissions post transplant, but over all CLARK IS THRIVING. Clark runs, jumps, talks and laughs. He is silly and strong willed. It is time to celebrate and pick up our fundraising efforts. We are ironing out a few details before tickets sales go live, but stay tuned for big announcments and BIG BIG opportunities to support COTA in honor of our best boy and his wonderful family. We are thankful you are here and can’t wait to celebrate with you in September.
