Yesterday was incredibly tough for both Dierks and Ashley. Dierks battled a severe migraine for over 36 hours, along with constant nausea and vomiting that didnβt respond to medication. He was unable to keep fluids down – only managing about 25 ml – far short of his 3L daily goal, which is so important after a kidney transplant. His care team quickly stepped in and scheduled IV fluids to help!
At the same time, Ashley woke up feeling sick herself and needed to be seen and started on medication, all while trying to care for Dierks during his recovery.
Today, things are looking much better! Dierks woke up free from his migraine, and both he and Ashley are feeling significantly better!
Continued prayers are so appreciated as they keep moving forward!
