Sitting here in the hospital tonight with so much to be thankful for…especially these two girls.

I got news earlier this afternoon that Dylan has an offer for a liver and will be going into surgery tomorrow. There’s still a few things that could happen between now and tomorrow that could delay surgery but as of now she will be in the operating room Saturday afternoon.

This is all happening so quickly.

I’m not sure what to say or think…but I’m pretty scared. I think Dylan is too.

I’ve had such a mix of emotions today. I’ve cried, I’ve laughed, I’ve thought about nothing and I’ve thought about everything.

I will have more details on Dylan’s blog on the COTA webpage as things unfold but as of now her surgery is set for tomorrow. It will be lengthy, maybe even up to 24hours and very involved.

Please keep Dylan in your thoughts tonight and tomorrow. She is so strong but she needs ALL your support.

So much love to all of you who have rallied around Dylan by sending encouraging messages, prayers, sharing her story, and contributing to COTA for Dylan for transplant related expenses.
