Update time:

We are very upset to announce that Easton has developed antibodies officially ruling out Carey as his kidney donor. We are heartbroken over this but thankful dialysis is working and keeping him alive and growing.

I’m sure you’re wondering how this happened – we are, too. They believe he had an infection and this is the result, though he was never visibly sick.

Easton will go active on the deceased donor list in January, while this is indeed an option, the kidney life of a LIVING donor is much longer.

With that said, we are back to the drawing board on finding Easton a living donor. If you are blood type O and between the ages of 18-50 and want to share your spare with Easton please fill out your application to see if you can qualify here:
