Today we went to Emmy’s doctor’s appointments in Madison.  It had been three months since we have seen her transplant team.  Emmy started out with an Echocariogram which took 45 minutes.  Then we headed to get lab work completed (Emmy’s least favorite).  After that we finally got to see the transplant team.  Emmy’s doctor reported that all her numbers were looking good, except for her creatinine number.  It was a little higher, but her doctors were not concerned.  We are going to recheck her numbers in 4-6 weeks.  The best part of the day was when the doctor told Emmy that she no longer had to take any more pills (YEAH!).  Today was a great day!  Our next appointment will be her year visit and will include two days of testing.  Overall, Emmy’s appointments were a success!  #fighter.
