Today was a busy day. We’re all packed up except for the essentials, stuffies, blankies, and snacks. We were given the final okay from Mayo to transfer from Children’s, and we’ll be going by ambulance. We’ll be leaving sometime this week depending on bed space. Evelyn is feeling a mix of apprehension and excitement about being at Mayo. We’ve watched videos and looked at pictures of where we’ll be ‘living’ for a while to help her feel more comfortable. A couple of her regular nurses stopped by to say goodbye, and we squeezed in one last game of bingo at the Star Studio with The Dude.
