Saturday marked 6 months of hospital life for Evelyn.
Half a year of machines, meds, alarms, and routines that no child should have to know so well. But also half a year of strength, bravery, and resilience that most adults couldn’t even imagine.
Evelyn continues to amaze us every single day. Through all the pokes, procedures, and long days, she still finds ways to smile, to play, and to just be a kid. She has made memories in the middle of something so hard, and continues to fight with everything she has.
This journey isn’t easy. There are really hard days. There are exhausting days. There are days filled with uncertainty. But there are also moments of laughter, love, and reminders of just how strong she truly is.
We are so incredibly proud of her.
