Lifting Faith to The Great Physician

Faith’s mom,  Felicia is appreciative for all the support and that everyone is reaching out for updates but she is sorry she is unable to respond to everyone. Faith is currently at MUSC and the original plan is for her to remain there until she receives her transplant.  Unfortunately, there have been some setbacks that Felicia wants the community to know about.  Faith requires a large IV line to administer the medications she needs both now and after her transplant.  She currently does not have the big IV that she needs and the placement of a new line has not been successful due to damage and scar tissue in her veins and arteries.  Felicia says that they are going to continue to work on getting a line placed for Faith’s medicine but her chances of getting her transplant are decreasing because of the damage to her body.  The procedure is planned for this week to try and get another line.  If they are able to get the IV line placed, Felicia says they will then reconsider her for a transplant but they have given her less than a 50% chance that she will still be a candidate for the transplant.  This has been heartbreaking news for the family but Felicia says they are not giving up and they continue to be hopeful for the future.  They ask that you continue to pray for them through this difficult journey and are grateful for the love and support of their community.
