Today Gianna had a follow up cardiac catheterization, echocardiogram, ECG, and lab work at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Everything went well with the procedure, and she was released this evening. Her catheterization numbers haven’t changed since her last catheterization performed in July. This is excellent news, but we are cautiously optimistic. The plan per the transplant team is to continue to monitor her closely. We will get more information on the catheterization, echo, ECG, and lab work at her follow up appointment with her heart transplant team tomorrow.
