We had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday with my parents. Our crew was small, but we enjoyed eating lots of good food together and Isaac was excited to see the action Christmas movie, Red One, in theaters. Then, we took a quick overnight trip to Nashville to experience ICE: Frosty the Snowman, ate at the Rain Forest Cafe (first time for Isaac) and marveled at the Christmas lights at the Opryland hotel. We absolutely do not take these opportunities for granted. We know what it is like to try to do fun things with family members feeling very sick or even being hospitalized. We are so grateful Isaac has been feeling so good.

Today was a reminder of how quickly things can change. Isaac was feeling fine this morning, but during church service he started feeling a few typical symptoms of heart failure. So, we headed to the ER. He is feeling better in general and we are waiting on a few tests. Hoping to go home soon, but thankful for our NCH team and for what we hope is a quick tune up!
