Well… someone decided he was in charge last night. Apparently, Jaime has figured out that if he doesn’t want his NG tube, he can just take it out himself… and that’s exactly what he did overnight. 🤦‍♀️

Needless to say, Mommy and Daddy got a lot less sleep than they were hoping for. To make things even more exciting, Mommy got called in to work too, so it has definitely been one of those days.

The upside? Jaime is feeling strong enough to keep everyone on their toes! He’s getting more determined every day, and while we’d prefer he leave his tube alone, we can’t help but smile at that stubborn little personality shining through.

He’s had some extra congestion with this tube change, so hopefully he can get to feeling better this afternoon. Here’s hoping tonight involves a little more sleep, a tube that stays put, and a lot less excitement. 💙(And judging by that grin, we’re not convinced he has any regrets. 😉)
