Jaime went back for his paracentesis. It was originally supposed to happen yesterday, but unfortunately it got pushed back to today. We’re hopeful this will give his team some more information about the fluid in his abdomen and help rule out infection as a possible source of everything going on.

His cough also started picking back up again last night after it had seemed to be improving, so we’re not quite sure what to make of that yet. For now, we’re continuing to take things one step at a time and waiting to see what today’s procedure and testing tell us.

Hopefully today brings us a few more answers and gets us a little closer to heading home. 💙
