Today has been a rough one for Jaime.

He didn’t have a very good night and has still been pretty lethargic today. He’s been getting IV fluids and antibiotics, and while his temp was down to 99° this morning, the fever came back this afternoon.His respiratory panel did come back positive for a virus.

From what we understand, it could be rhinovirus or another similar virus, but the test doesn’t distinguish between the two.He’s been sleepy, grumpy and mostly just wants to be held when he wakes up before going right back to sleep. He also had a big puke after his last feed, so an unexpected bath got added to the day.

We’re still waiting to hear more from his doctors and find out what the plan is from here. This trip has definitely been a harder one on our little guy.
