Homeward bound! Jaime has been fever-free for almost 24 hours, his bloodwork showed no signs of infection, and the team didn’t feel he needed another paracentesis this time. 🙌

For now, we’re starting Lasix and seeing how his belly responds. We already head back to liver on September 15, so they’ll be able to reassess everything then.

He got IV antibiotics while we were there just to be extra cautious, but thankfully he doesn’t need to continue them at home.

We are more than ready to get this little guy back home, back in his own bed, and hopefully back to some much more uneventful days.
