Jaime had been running a slight fever, but Wednesday night it spiked to 102, which had us worried we might be making another trip to Riley.

Thankfully, his liver team is trying to keep us from having to make that trip if we can. We were able to have labs and viral testing done here in town instead.

His labs looked okay, and so far he has tested negative for flu, RSV, COVID, and strep. We’re still waiting on the rest of the viral testing to come back.His fever is still up and down, so his mood is doing a little of the same, but overall he’s doing alright.

For now, we’re thankful to be home and hoping this bug gets the memo that Jaime has more important things to do. 💙
