Sometimes when you see another COTA fundraiser posted, it probably looks like cupcakes, dinners, drawings, silent auctions or another event to add to the calendar.

To us, it looks a little different.

We see future trips to Riley.

We see medications.

We see appointments and medical care that won’t simply end the day Jaime receives a new liver.

We see a family who has spent much of their baby’s first year learning medical terminology they never expected to know.

And we see a community saying:

“You don’t have to do this alone.”

That is what every COTA for Jaime’s Second Chance fundraiser means to us.

Whether you donated $5, bought cupcakes, shared a Facebook post, dropped money in a jar, donated an auction item, volunteered at an event or simply told someone else about Jaime, you became part of the COTA for Jaime’s Second Chance team surrounding him.

That matters more than we could ever put into words.
