On September the 7th 2023 at 7 and 1/2 months old We received a call that we have been waiting for since January but also dreaded as at the same time for the other family . Jaxson Coleman finally got his new heart the next day on September the 8th 2023. The family all got gathered together at the family room at  the children’s hospital and watched the time ticked by hour upon our minute by minute. We were so very excited for him to receive his new heart to get the chance that one day bringing him home and holding him and rocking him but in the same breath our hearts cried out for the other family. Life is precious , not enough words can describe how precious life is. And when I look at the pictures of baby Jaxson now, gratitude and love and tenderness fill my heart. But also the love and understanding and knowledge of so many family and friends and supporters who stood by our sides , who helped pray and finance and donate to this cause for Jaxson. We are truly blessed and grateful for Jaxson to have a normal life with his three older brothers to play and wrestle and be little boys ,exploring life together to grow up with. Most of all to show Jaxson one day when he gets older the start of where his journey began ,how far he has come and what a warrior he has been thru all of this. To see he never gave up and fought every obstacle to just have the chance to be here ♥?We truly love everyone that has helped along this journey and are grateful. May The Lord bless everyone of you a thousandfold and more for the compassion and love .
