Hanging out with this guy. He’s doing much better with the Berlin heart. His heart rate is finally down to the 120s where it should be. His blood is still all over the place but is manageable. He is eating some by mouth again which is great and is drinking some apple juice and milk as well. Over all it seems he is doing much better each day and hopefully by the end of the week we can start getting up and playing again.

Jayce has some minor brain damage from the bypass in the left side of his brain and also has a subdermal hematoma. These things are minor set backs and he should be able to get better with therapy. As of right now he cannot move his left hand. He cannot extend his fingers or make a fist. We are hoping as he gets stronger he will be able to use his hand again.
