In 2017, I took my son Jaylin in for a random doctor's visit for his 12-year-old shots for school, which turned into a nightmare. Jaylin was diagnosed with an enlarged spleen referred to as Splenomegaly. After many hosiptal visits, I thought this was something that he would eventually grow out of.
