Spring Cold

Everything seemed more normal and thoughts of immunosuppression are no longer forefront in our minds…Josiah ventured out to a large conference unarmed with no mask or hand sanitizer and he came home with a cold. He is working on week three of congestion, cough, sore throat and feeling run down. I can’t give him things that would help boost his immune system, and he can’t have a decongestant. We tried a Netty pot (which he hated), Tylenol, and Claritin but nothing is offering him relief.
Thankfully, clinic is this week they can give him a checkup and assure us he is ok.
All other fronts seem to be going well, this is a good reminder to not let our guard down and to always remember to take precautions!
Thanks for caring,
Katherine
