“Hi, my name is Junia. Today’s clinic was a little disappointing. Because I get to stop my Sodium Bicarbonate (!), I’ll need an additional set of labs this month. And because my platelet levels were low, the doctor wants to be cautious and check on my liver function so I’m scheduled for an ultrasound in a couple weeks. Mama is dreading it because I’m not allowed to eat anything three hours beforehand. Other than that, I got the first half of my flu shot, had a few stitches from my wound removed, and am still waiting for immunology lab results. One of the nurses also recommended giving me epsom salt baths to help with my low Magnesium levels (I hate taking my Magnesium), so I’m really excited for that. Maybe it’ll be like my sister’s bubble baths…!”
