Kazia is still patiently waiting for a heart, she has been inpatient for a month and a week now. She starts each day by getting dressed for the day, washing her face, brushing her teeth and styling her hair to try to feel as “normal” as possible. She enjoys breakfast of her choice, usually goes for something sweet! She has a school teacher come see her for continuation of her education and mom supplements with home school materials for about an hour to two a day. She looks forward to seeing Mrs. Sara and seeing her progress each week! She also gets visits from hospital animals, mostly dogs- we celebrated Gertie, one of the hospital dogs birthday and had a chance to get outside and get some fresh air for a while which she REALLY enjoyed!
