Kenzie was discharged from the Cleveland Clinic today at 3 pm!!!!!! She is such a tough human as she walked on her own on room air only 12 days after surgery. We are so thankful her recovery in the hospital went well (with only a few scary bumps in the road). Kenzie will continue to recover at home over the next year. She will have multiple appointments at the Cleveland Clinic and will be taking certain precautions to prevent rejection. We appreciate your prayers and ask that you continue them for her as she will be tackling a whole new med schedule and letting her body heal. We will keep updating everyone through this website and Kimberly and I will also be planning an event or two for fundraising through COTA. Thank you to all of you who have donated so far. It is so so helpful for Kenzie and her caregivers who all aren’t working at this time.
