Kenzie had her second visit at the Cleveland Clinic (3 weeks post transplant). It was a long day (6 am – 7pm) full of lab work, chest x-ray, pulmonary function tests, meeting with the transplant doctor, and having her first bronchoscopy. The bronch went great…Kenzie didn’t have any issues and she is showing no signs of rejection. WOO HOO!!!!! Kenzie started pulmonary rehab today and is incorporating a little light exercise into her daily routine. Dad has been cooking her all the yummy food and she is trying to gain weight to help with her healing.
