Good Morning, Everyone!

I recently got off of school for summer break on May 27th, and I am now an 8th grader. I’m looking forward to going to the high school next year because in the school district that I attend, 7th grade is the last year that you go the middle school, same as 4th grade. I graduated elementary school in 4th grade. I remember when I started 5th grade, the middle school seemed so big and scary. Now as an 8th grader, it seems so small. I went on a field trip to the high school with my class a couple of weeks ago and I was looking aorund the place thinking, “In 5 years, I’ll think this place is small.” It just seems so big to me now! I guess in my senior year of high school I’ll be laughing at myself for thinking that the high school is big. 

I am especially looking forward to this summer because I was upset that I missed the last one. A summer in the hospital isn’t pleasant. Some of the things I’ve been doing this summer are playing outside, playing Minecraft, playing with my puppy Jamie, helping my mom out with chores, and playing in the little kiddie pool that my mom cleaned and filled with water for me. I wanted Jamie to get into the kiddie pool with me, but he was too scared. 

Another thing that I will be doing this summer is going to Flying Horse Farms, a camp for kids with heart conditions like me. I go away for 5 days starting on June 11th and the Heart Transplant Team said that I have no limits to my activites. I can even go fishing! However, I have to wash my hands after, which is doable.
