Halloween is one of the best holidays for a child. You get to dress up to whatever your imagination desires and get free candy! Last years Halloween was a sad down the block, up the hill, go get the car because Lily can’t go any further. Years prior included Covid, a lethargic child (now we know why), and a twice sick Verona. This year was a coming out party for our family. No longer were we restricted, Lily and Verona were two “normal” kids running house to house to fill their little pumpkin buckets. After the buckets were full, I proposed we do a pit stop to empty the buckets and keep going. Vintage Lily was on display to tell us “I have enough, I want to pass out candy to other kids now”. We’re so grateful to have our little peanut back.
