As you all are familiar Louis Brewer is in need of a kidney transplant, and hopefully you are also aware that fundraising efforts have begun! There is a small team that has formed in order to create a campaign to raise $50,000 for COTA in honor of the Brewer family. These funds will assist with transplant related expenses. We have been challenged by the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (www.COTA.org) to raise $25,000 by Feb. 3, 2019 and if we do, COTA will add a $2,500 grant to the campaign. If we raise $50,000 by that date, it will be a $5,000 grant.
So as you can imagine, we’d like to take advantage of this generous offer! What a blessing this can all be for the Brewer family.

A city wide lemonade stand that we hope will bring media interest to these efforts. #lemonade4louis will be a fun and easy fundraiser for families to participate in. We are looking for you all to help us get the word out, and hopefully have a lemonade stand of your own. We encourage you to ask to “set up shop” in high traffic areas. If you live in a busy neighborhood, perfect! If not, consider asking local stores and police or fire stations if you can set up there. We can provide flyers for your tables to create a wide spread knowledge of #lemonade4louis. We will also send you information on future fundraisers for you to set out. You may use premade lemonade, or a mix. If you cannot supply this and/or cups, straws, etc. please let us know and we will do our best to help you. You may also take what these supplies cost out of your earnings if you so choose.
