Levi is having a good day. He’s been fever free all day and feeling good. We are still waiting on blood cultures which take 24 hours so we’re staying another night. So far, those are all turning up negative which is a good thing. They would like us to get labs in the morning to see if his white blood cells have elevated a bit. Since we are already here another night, we have decided to do the blood transfusion. His levels are lower this week than last week and if we are already admitted, it would be a good time to just do it. They’re going to premedicate him with premeds beforehand and run it slow in hopes that he won’t have a reaction this time. I’m a tad nervous but he needs this…
