It’s hard to believe it is already March! Not only is spring right around the corner, but so is Luke’s birthday. He turns 1 on March 25! Can time slow down just a little bit?! Something else to celebrate is how far we’ve come in our fundraising efforts with the Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA). Thanks to family, friends, and even perfect strangers, we are close to a third of the way to our total fundraising goal of $75,000! The amazing thing is that 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of Luke helps meet his transplant-related expenses, of which there will be many when the time comes. Also, COTA’s support for Luke is available for his lifetime. Because of these reasons and many more, you can rest assured that your donation to COTA in honor of Luke benefits Luke and his family beyond measure. 

As I said, we are extremely close to hitting $25,000 in fundraising dollars – a third of our total goal! If you have been wondering how to help the Milne family in this journey or are interested in making a donation, now would be a great time. If we can hit $25,000 by March 27, we will qualify for COTA’s Challenge Grant, which means COTA will contribute an additional $2,500 to Luke’s fundraising campaign! I know Mary and Adam are beyond grateful for the support and encouragement they’ve received so far. Let’s keep it going and help them hit this milestone!
