Unfortunately, this is not a fun update. McKenzie’s labs have been elevated for a little while and after her biopsy results, the doctors have decided its best to admit her. She is showing signs of rejection. They believe that this is early detection and they can stave off full rejection. *Fingers crossed, prayers made, dances in the moonlight, salt over your shoulder- lets do all the things to get this girl healthy and back home!* As for now the plan is to have her stay in the hospital until Friday, receiving IV steriods to give her the needed boost.  This is just a reminder that even though she received her new liver, the fight isn’t over. Baby girl, we love you and so many people are wishing for you to get well soon!!!
