Nora is still home and each day she is getting better and better. Sleeping isn’t great but they told us this will get better as her steroid dose decreases and she is eventually off of it in 3 months. We started our 3x/wk labs yesterday and today was our first appointment with Dr. C. He is thrilled at how well Nora is doing. Her appetite increases daily and she get more mobile too. We meet with hematology on Thursday and we are praying they say only 6 weeks of the lovenox shots. I am guessing she will get an ultrasound at that visit as well to check in the size of her clot and see if the lovenox is helping. Those are quick but terrible for her. I mean who wants a small probe pushed into your neck anyways, can’t say I blame her. Next week Dr. C will take her port out. He gave the go ahead to get her started in PT without restrictions today so you can bet mama is going to jump on that. We have orders in and are just waiting to get visits set up for OT and PT. Otherwise we are loving being home and Nora is loving her bike. Sorry I cannot figure out how to upload this photo from my phone. Wishing everyone a blessed week!
