Six months.
That number still feels wild to say out loud.
Half a year of loving this little boy.
Of watching him become more – more curious, more joyful, more himself.
Lately, he’s been all giggles and wide-eyed wonder.
Grabbing toys. Making faces. Reminding us daily that there’s a full, beautiful person behind those hospital walls.
And today, this growing boy needs a little help.
In the morning, he’ll have a bedside procedure to replace his VAD – the external heart pump that’s been keeping him strong while we wait for the real one.
It’s a relatively simple procedure. No operating room. Just his team and their steady hands right there beside him.
But still… it’s hard not to feel the weight of it.
We’d love your prayers: For a smooth, uneventful procedure
For a smooth, uneventful procedure For continued strength and stability
For continued strength and stability For peace in this time of waiting – for us, for him, and for the family somewhere out there whose gift will someday become his miracle.
For peace in this time of waiting – for us, for him, and for the family somewhere out there whose gift will someday become his miracle.
We’re grateful beyond words for every prayer, every kind word, every quiet act of support – we feel it. And we carry it with us into today.
