Roman was being wheeled off for his life saving liver transplant exactly one year ago today.

Hunt sent me this picture today: attending Roman’s 12-month follow up appointment at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.
What a difference a year can make. While we are celebrating Roman’s recovery and his presence in our lives I am reminded that for another family, today is a much harder anniversary. So while you all join me in praising Jesus for Roman and his recovery please also take a moment to pray for the family who’s loss made Roman’s life possible.
Thank you all for continuing to remember Roman and his family in your prayers. May the journey continue…
What a year. Thanks again to all who shared this journey with our family.
Greg and Amanda, Roman’s grandparents
We rejoice with you that God was merciful to allow Roman a second chance! We do pray the family that made it possible would somehow know that God is there ready to wrap His arms around them and carry them through.
May the Lord continue to walk with you all as you go down this road and trust Him. He is so faithful!!
Jeremiah 30:17. “For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.”
Love you all!
we are so happy to see Roman thriving a year later and pray for the family that has been grieving for one whole year.
Thank you for sharing this photo and update! Roman is missed by his Nashville friends especially Addi:)
Much love the Fitzsimmons family
