We are very humbled and grateful to this amazing community that we live in. We recently went to Sioux Falls for Colin’s 7th endoscopy to check for esophageal varices — and no banding was needed!  That is 2 in a row!  Back in 3 months!  One positive thing to come out of the multiple trips to Sioux Falls is that is has allowed me to reconnect with my college roommate.  We have always kept touch since college but didn’t get to see each other very often.  I feel like our friendship has deepened, even after all this time!  In addition, this last trip, Colin and I got to meet Stephanie, Colin’s kidney donor.  She is wonderful and I feel like she also is a kindred spirit!
