Our Story
Ezra was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Krabbe Leukodystrophy via newborn screening. Without a transplant, this disease is typically fatal by age 2, so newborn screening is vital. Despite this, currently only 13 states screen for Krabbe. Ezra receives weekly therapies and goes to school full time. He’s very social and loves cooking, animals, being outdoors and donuts.
